Fake tools show up when projects go viral
Expect impostor extensions, fake installers, and “helpful” scripts. Your goal is to reduce exposure to unverified code and links.
Rules
- Install only from official sources you can verify.
- Avoid random browser extensions claiming to "enhance" Moltbot.
- Assume any third-party “setup wizard” can steal tokens.
If you already installed something suspicious

Disconnect tokens
Rotate bot tokens / API keys used by the setup.

Audit logs & configs
Search for unexpected outbound requests or unknown accounts.

A snapshot rollback is often faster than guessing.
